01. Introduction
Hello and welcome at the online dating website GrosPoisson, launched in november 2011 and created
to answer an obvious lack in the area of online dating : No website (as far as we know)
has a ladder system that enables every men and women to find their right balance!
Indeed among internet users there is a vast majority of men on online dating websites, particularly
free ones (or partially free, e.g. allowing to send messages but not allowing to answer it without

GrosPoisson introduces a new system with a ladder subscription (free, 10 euros per month, 30 euros
per month or 90 euros per month) so that anyone can find the right balance. People generally
receiving too many messages now can select fishes having a particular subscription (or superior)
to have less messages or simply none. On the contrary, people wanting to contact persons who
receive few messages (to avoid competition) can take the adapted subscription of their choice.
You probably noticed that no video chat or virtual phone are available on the site
(Skype.com and MSN are good substitutes that you probably already know), maybe it is a question
of time only but that is not essential in our opinion, best is to promote the site, and your help
is very welcome by using the affiliate program that allow you to win free subscriptions
(see the bottom of the Preferences page).
02. How does it work?
As you just read, four packages are available : free (tiny fish),
10€ (small fish), 30€ (medium fish) or 90€ (big fish) for a 30 days package. There may be
special offers, like when the site started, in this case the package may last more time.
Of course nobody (or almost) will pay 90 euro per month on an online dating website, this mode
is only useful to people who do not want to be contacted, to discuss with people they chose only.
By "to be contacted" we mean the possibility to receive the very first message from someone else.
Finally you can choose the subscription of people who will be able to contact you.
In brief you'll find these possibilities:
- You are a tiny fish and you select big fishes (to receive very few or no messages).
- You are a tiny fish and you select medium fishes (to receive very few messages).
- You are a tiny fish and you select small fishes (to receive more messages).
- You are a tiny fish and you select tiny fishes (to receive many messages).
- You are a small fish (to send messages also to people selecting small fishes).
- You are a medium fish (to send messages also to people selecting medium fishes).
- You are a big fish (to send messages also to people selecting big fishes).
The other possibilities are quite unlikely. You can select the minimal size of
"fishes" being able to contact you in Preferences and becoming a tiny, small, medium or
big fish by buying a subscription.
03. Is it really free?
Just don't buy any subscription. Right now you can contact 68.9% of men and 37.1%
of women for free, in another words people selecting tiny fishes.
You'll see then that you can actually see these profiles, send messages and continue the
discussion without any cost.

04. What package to buy, is it useful?
It all depends on the number of persons who allow other members to contact them for free. It is your choice only, according to profiles you're interested in.
However you must be aware that a free dating website is very attractive to dubious profiles,
particularly scammers who try to abuse people's generosity and confidence, that's why a package
can be useful if the people you're interested in decided to filter free accounts to not receive
scams attempts anymore.
As specified on the home page, the 2904 women (about 53.5%) looking for small, nice or big fishes
can be contacted by the 2 having any package. In other words, your chances
are much bigger when you have even a "small fish" package. On the opposite way, the 2831 men (about 29%)
looking for small, nice or big fishes can be contacted by the 0 women who have a package... but we all know that generally men do the first step or the first virtual bubble.
You also have to know that
327 or 3.3% of men and
1029 or 18.6% of women have a dubious
profile according to the site's algorithm and the members.
Dubious profiles are not deleted so that it's easier to locate it and to avoid to delete by mistake
serious profiles that are spotted by mistake or by malevolence, as it regularly happens on other sites.
Consequently there is no risk to lose your package and privileges. Having a package is also a way to
use fully the site if your profile has been restricted for any reason (scammers usually never pay on
dating websites).
The site reinvests your subscriptions and as the number of members is still low, unlimited
packages are available at very low prices that will increase progressively as the site grows, before
to disappear definitely. My advice is do not miss it! Each unlimited package mean many new

Right now, 2048 women and 6800 men can be contacted
by tiny fishes (or bigger), 2946 women and 2866 men by small fishes (or bigger), 516 women and 199 men by medium fishes (or big fishes), at last 3 women and 3 men by big fishes only.
On the contrary, big fishes can contact a total of 5513 women (all of them), medium fishes can contact 5510 women, small fishes can contact 4994 women, at last tiny fishes can contact 2048 women... You can choose your package by taking account of these numbers, it may seem quite
complex at a first sight, but one gets used to it :)
If you receive the confirmation that your package is running while you're connected, thanks
to connect to the site again. Every coupon, if you have one, must be validated before its deadline,
and at most 7 days after the start of a new package of 30 days maximum. There are no coupons
for 300 days and unlimited package. You can test the validity of any coupon without buying
a package, see the bottom of the Preferences page.
At last please note that no package will be renewed automatically, ever! This is a common
practice on many other online dating websites that, according to us, in unacceptable.
A package is a unique purchase for a given period, that's it. Consequently there's no possible
error as you can make a bank transfer. We recommend the unlimited packages because
of their very low price per day, of course it wouldn't be an interesting offer if the site was to
close his doors but be reassured, that's very... very unlikely. Grospoisson will last!
05. How to make a search?
You just have to click the blue fish on the top left once connected to your account
then fill the form. All fields are optional. Then you'll see the profiles with an icon
meaning either:
- that this person is already in your contacts if the icon is a wink.
- that you can contact this person if the icon is a bubble (clickable to send your first message).
- that you cannot contact this person if the icon is a fish (mouseover will tell you what package is necessary).
- that you cannot contact this person if the icon is a hallucinated smiley (your age doesn't fit to this person).
- that you shouldn't contact this person if the icon is a warning icon (possible scam).
06. What's the bubble message?
The bubble message is defined in Preferences (you can change it whenever you want), you can send
it to all profiles in the search window by clicking the bubble near or above these profiles,
meaning that you can send them the first message.
07. Is the discussion window a live chat?
Yes, the messages from the person you discuss with, as well as yours, will appear automatically
above the messages already displayed. Consequently, you do not have to reload the full page
by yourself. You can open several discussion windows at the same time by opening several tabs
on your navigator.
08. Will I receive an email in case of a new message?
Yes, only if you are not connected when you receive it. If you are connected you'll be warnt
in the window by the numbers in the horizontal menu bar (just before your username) indicating
respectively the number of new messages and the number of new visits.
09. About blockages and scammers
The fight against scammers is taken very seriously at Grospoisson, your help is very precious
to avoid them to spread on the site, that's why it is very important to report undesired messages
and to block these profiles, including after having discussed with the person through MSN, Skype
and so on... The website's algorithms act gradually and warn you when such a profile is detected.
Please do not block people who are not scammers, but in case of harrassment.
We also detect possible scams by IP, that's why certain new members may have a restricted profile,
improvements have been done for "false positives" but no algorithm is 100% reliable on this matter so
please be very careful in your discussions on online dating websites, do not give important informations
of your private life (including name & Facebook) and never send money to someone you never met in the
real life.
Paying profiles are not restricted at all as scammers usually do not pay on dating websites, having a
small fish package may be a way to use the site if your profile has been restricted by mistake or any
other reason.

10. What are the resources of the website?
The site's resources are subscriptions (even with a low percentage) and advertisement casually on certain pages and on the
forum that answer your questions on the site's
